Science Society

Working from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Miss all the classes, Organize E-Gaming, design the creative things for the society, manage the event, do LIVE editing that would be incomplete about the science society. As our motto, A Vision to inventions, we were able to create, share some unspoken and unseen things as like our experience, relations, confidence, blah blah

Exposure to people was the first and most important thing that society had gifted us. Starting with the E-gaming we learnt Dealing with Public in Organizing, Managing the event, from the process registration of Players to the finale of the tournament, it was the science society who was always on the front line to make this event successful. My position in the E-gaming was the server management.

Now it was the time for Science Olympiad, the Mega Event. As a Media Manager, I could not define my position that how challenging it was for me to do all the media work alone. but it was the whole society on the back of me, which helped and supported me for the making of the Creative Designs. Not only president and vice president, in fact the whole society including the coordinators took interest in the Making of the Backdrop, Shields, Certificates.

Working was going on, and this time it was the best response in the history of AKHSS that we got from students almost more than 300 Projects was there, a remarkable achievement for AKHSS.

With the learning of designing, I learned to explain my designs to people, do some professional work.

These Memorable things in the Science Society, even in the whole AKHSS would be so remembered by me. :)

Pinnacle - Society Review

Journey Started off with Photographer, my passion and is still continuing with Media Management. Pinnacle gave me a platform to enhance my abilities, enhance the shining skills, and the most important it gave me a new experience to workout for a printing publication. Besides all this formality, I got a circle of new friends, creative coworkers, fresh things to laugh for, this was the small new family that i got after the science society and I hope that this Pinnacle-Friends would be the upcoming writers-journalist-Photographers-Graphic Designer-Artists

Science Society and Olympiad

My Relationship with AKHSS Science Society 2010 - 11 is just not like a writing on piece of paper, it is more beyond than thoughts, it is not of 2880 Hours, it is of 10368000 Seconds.

Society is not only a One Man Show, Behind a Word Science Society the whole Team Works includes the SMT's and SLT's, The President, Vice President, Coordinator, Media Head, Departmental Coordinator's and Sub Coordinators and The Members Respectively.

Started off with a SMALL E-Gaming Tournament ( Whose Prizes Are Still Left :P ) we stepped up the stairs of sucess. It was not the thought of being fail or beating the opponent society, rather it was courage to win, to serve the AKHSS with courageous zeal, motivation, creativity and support.

After That our society members headed with the other AKHSS Students went to N@STEC and showed their creative skills. There AKHSS got Winning Position in the BEST Idea Competition whereas in the Model Disply we Got a Runner up Prize.

Intel ISEF was another opportunity for AKHSS to shine, here out of large team, we got a special mention from the Intel

Beside This DICE and ISEO was too a glorious victory for AKHSS. In ISEO not only we got a Winning Prize in the Model Display ( Robot ) , beside this we got special Mention in the Film Making Too

After Participating in the Other's Events, now it wast the science society's time to launch its own event. As held yearly the Science Olympiad, we try to modify it, to present it in a new manner, change it thoughts, promotes creativity, leads to invention. For the above mention purpose we launched event namely "Science Olympiad 2011" A Vision to Inventions and promoted in every manner we could. The Desk was there in Our Collage Courtyard, Encouraging Sessions are being conducted by Society Members in the IT labs and Classrooms too, and the most important the SLT's who motivated their students via daily classroom lectures.

Meetings were conducted for the ideas and application of that project, confirming the project, about making the research book, and the society started working with full flash, with all their expertise to make the event successful.

Above all was our president who was courageous to learn more about science, besides the most important work of the society either it was time of finalizing the sheilds, the president went to attend his physics class, this was the devotion towards scientific studies :P

Besides his Scientific Studies, he supported and leaded us in a well manner so that we had accomplished our goal

We Announced the date of 19th and 20th February on which science olympiad is to be held, but for the compilation of the projects of the students we extended it to 26th and 27th Feb so that students can work on their projects more efficiently.

Unlike pest science society we ran out of major work a couple of days before Olympiad, and that was the major achievement we got, but unfortunately this achievement was not advanced fully, our tent Contractors somehow vanished our work, he done so late that students were unable to setup their display in the day timings. On the Friday due to this mis management not only Organizers but Participants too reached home late.

Saturday Morning, the Opening Ceremony of the Olympiad was held, in which starting off with the national anthem we started off the Olympiad

The Golden Features of this Olympiad were the New category Quran and Science and the Quantity with the Quality of the Projects that had been displayed.

Opening led out with great enthusiasm, with a great zeal and courage, the high energy levels of the participants, the competition Breeze was there in the environment. everyone just wanted to show their skills fully with a good presentation and working model.

Some made a Nitrogen Ice Cream or Robotic Arm or Some Even Danced a Fire while some showed tricks to solve Rubik Cube. Everyone Showed their interest and explained of what they think.

The special Judgement was Carried out side by side with the official Judges. The awards for best display, senior brain box and many such was laid out.

The President VP Event Team stayed in the Collage Uptill Midnight to Just Compile the Results.

And Now it was Turn for the visitors to have a look on the inventions of young scientists. There was a huge crowd of visitors who visited this olympiad. It was the appreciation of the crowd that increased the confidence of the creative creators

Finally it was the time for the award ceremony, to which every participants hopes were there. Heart beats were high, Suspense, Yelling, Excitement, anxiousness, worry, nervousness all the factors were present. Hence the result is yet to be announced, There Were winners headed with runner up in groups and individual in each category and there were grand winners too :)

This journey of olympiad taught a series of lessons in the field of public dealing, how to encourage, motivate, support, persuade, cheer the participants in addition it made us capable to organize such a mega event with all the proper resources on time.

It Was the Olympiad Unlike the past one held at AKHSS, the new things were effective like Open Day on Sunday, Film in the Closing Ceremony and much more

Legend in My Time

Learning process in throughout of life, but as far as i experienced that when you have strict orders on you, or the deadline is on your head, the work is always done quickly and efficiently.
The Institution I'm volunteering is a great place for me to learn things, like I know how to use photoshop it tools and all that, but the institution taught me how to use it for making things, such as panaflex or printing things, infact for web publish and photographs too.. :)
A sentence which I still want to implement in my life is that i had listened ISEO'11 Anthem which was

So Today, With These Success i Want some more, Greed of some more learning with more success, to be that legend in my time.. !! :)

despite of accepting some bad things (which i think that it was) it helped me alot in understanding my self, but again that all bad things turned into a positive version.

ISEO 2011

International Science Educational Olympiad (ISEO) organized yearly by Karachi High School, which comprises of Chess, Elocution, Scrabble, Debate, Photography, Film Making, Model Display, Vocals, Painting and Many More, organized this year from January 28 to February 1, 2011.

Opening of this Event Leaded By MPA Raza Haroon, headed by lamp lightening of ISEO which started a battle among 139 Schools in different categories respectively.

This Event is an International Platform for young generation to show their marvelous skills as well as enhance their capabilities. It also a great chance for the people to face the Audience which prepare them for their professional life.

We are becoming increasingly dependent on computers. they are used in business, hospitals, crime detection and even to fly planes. what things will they be used in the future?> Is this dependence on computer a good thing or should we be more suspicious of their benefits?

Computer, a Device Invented by Charles Babbage, Proved to be a turning point in human history. Implemented since 20th Century, this machine helps alot in our daily life either in the field of a aeronautics or accounting or any where else, but at some point it destroy our ability to think, ability to reacts, emotions and ideas.

From the Day it was invented, disease such as depression, sugar, etc are implementing on mankind. Disease are the outcomes of Computer or Computer is outcome of disease is still a question mark. People says that technology such as computer are outcomes of diseases, more the diseases, more approach to cure it through technology so invention of latest computer or technology is directly proportional to disease.The more days are passing the more disease came into existence, which is simply an outcome of this technology

Writing, which is difficult task for me, is essential for life because it is the way of expressing things that you can't do verbally or with anybody.
you always wanted someone listen to you, suggests you, helps you, share your feelings, negociate with you Give advices, stay friendly with you and in todays world no one as enough time to even stay with you addionaly if both gets time so it mismatch, the key to this puzzle is just infront of you.. just write write write, the best way of expression either in your personal diary or on blog or even on status of facebook.
Writings are always being important in the early ages, Bible, Quran and Differnt Holy Book even the scluptures found at Indus Valley Civilization also shows about the writing. This means that Since 3500 Before Crist this tradition is on going, important and encouraged.. :)
People says that pen's sharpness is even greater than Shapness of sword, this is the reason, today media is catching ones eye, it can execrate or bless someone, boost or hinder. it depend of its usage
Writing is the only thing which we are taught since nursery of or Montesori, but as soon as we go big big and bigger we forgets it and gets involved in differnts medium and time waster social networking even it can also be used for this purpose, it depends upon us that what we do, either use it in the way we want or diminish it.
